Brides to Be

Congratulations on your engagement

When the time comes, we all dream of the perfect wedding ceremony. The dress, the flowers, the cake. A thousand items to decide about. However, Dr. Cartsos believes that the most important aspect of this life event is YOU.

All the eyes will be on you and on your beautiful smile. If your teeth do not appear straight, give us the opportunity to work with you to correct your smile, just in time for the big day.

Is there time to straighten my teeth before the wedding?

For optimum results and for the best treatment possible in this limited period of time, we advise you to seek care by a certified Orthodontist. An orthodontic specialist has completed several years of training beyond dentistry, and she is trained in multiple Orthodontic systems and approaches. An orthodontic specialist practices just orthodontics and has the experience required to help you achieve a perfect smile prior to the wedding.

Condé Nast Bridal Infobank mentions that the average American engagement is around 16 months. If you have time to plan the orthodontic treatment prior to the ceremony, we recommend you seek a consultation approximately 12-16 mo. prior to the wedding date. Together we will decide what type of treatment is indicated.

For minor corrections and limited treatment, even 6 months of active orthodontics may be enough.

If treatment is ongoing, Dr. Cartsos has multiple options to conceal the appliance so that your wedding photos will be perfect.

4-8 weeks prior to the wedding

In addition to Incognito hidden braces or Invisalign orthodontics, at Convivial Dental our dentists evaluate the need for cleanings, restorations and whitening of your teeth. We recommend Zoom professional in-office whitening for immediate results and white, beautiful, healthy teeth.
